This is the infamous Glenelg Beach. Not only know for its beautiful sunsets, and great beach atmosphere, but also for the case of the missing Beaumont children.
It was from this beach that the three children, Grant Ellis Beaumont, Arnna Kathleen Beaumont and Jane Nartare Beaumont disappeared without a trace on Australia Day in 1966. The case had much media attention, and the police had many leads however to this day the case remains unsolved.
I find it strange and sad to believe that this could happen at somewhere so pleasant to visit, and I hope that perhaps one day the family may have some closure.
This was inspired by a shot by *SeaMist which can be seen here [link]
I thank her for letting me know of where this place was so I could go and spend some nights taking photos.

Ohhhh thanks Alice! I like to do a little bit of a backstory to the photos that I like. It sort of 'laces' the viewer there at the scene with me in a way and gives people more to think about than just the photo.
I appreciate your support and the . Speak to you soon.
Thanks mate. Get anything nice in the city today? I almost finished the essay in between watching the hawks kick the shit out of the bulldogs. Good game.
