Perhaps the greatest part about shooting at night is when you come up with something that you really love. When I first started working on this shot, I could not get things to work as I had hoped. My battery was low, the tripod was on un-even ground and I wasn't sure on the exposure.

Finally, after working on it for a significant amount of time and with some help from *svarci I was able to finally stitch these three vertical pieces together correctly to form a 6932 x 3876 pixel image. I used the border here to correct it to 3:2 format for viewing.

This is similar to another shot of mine, [link] , which was based on the night work of Jeff Brouws. Thanks to ~maxiumas (Brent) and ~sunken-waltz (Luke) for the night out.

Thanks. Yes the 'L's are very nice. I've just obtained a new EOS 1d Mk3 body so they will complement that camera very nicely.
